| The Direct Investment Department of CCB International Asset Management Limited has made remarkable achievements since its establishment. In early 2006, it cooperated with Goldman Sachs and Standard Chartered Bank to invest in Shimao Property, one of the largest real estate companies in China. And it also completed the investment in China's biggest intelligent transportation group and a major tobacco package printing company in the same year. In early 2007, it successfully invested in one of China's top ten villa builders and a manufacturer of solar energy chips. In addition, it has participated in the placement of several companies listed, such as ICBC, China Blue Chemical and China CITIC Bank. |

| Pre-IPO investment projects by the Direct Investment Department |
- Shimao Property (0813.HK) is one of China's large developers of high-quality real estate projects, devoting itself to the construction of high-end properties in superior regions. It has successfully marketed a great number of real estate projects in China's fast-developing cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Harbin, Nanjing and Fuzhou. We became its pre-IPO financial investor in January 2006, and the company was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on July 5, 2006.
- Cigarette package printing company - among the top three of its kind in China. CCB International signed an invest agreement with the group in July 2006 and became its strategic investor for listing.
- The only high-tech group in China's intelligent transportation industry complete with R&D, manufacture, sales, system integration, maintenance and value-added services. CCB International invested by means of convertible bonds (CB) in November 2006 and became its strategic investor for listing.
- Large villa developer - Ranked the 67th among China's top 100 real estate companies, the group has also been honored as one of the "Top Ten Famous Enterprises in Nanjing" and "Nanjing's Enterprise of the Year 2006 for Overall Rating". CCB International invested by means of convertible bonds (CB) in April 2007 and became its strategic investor for listing.
- Manufacturer of solar energy batteries and materials - It is mainly engaged in the production of monocrystalline materials for solar energy batteries, including 5"-6.5" P-type and N-type monocrystalline silicon rods, 5"-8" monocrystalline silicon slices and monocrystalline furnaces. CCB International invested in the way of Sino-foreign joint venture in 2007 and became its strategic investor for listing.
